Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the proper management of the finance division.
Provide financial information needed to make informed decisions regarding the strategic direction of Co. MFI
Apply the proper accounting standards, internal controls and strategic financial planning.
Develop a financial infrastructure to meet the organisation’s growing financial needs.
Develop and regularly update accounting policies and procedures.
Ensure reliability and integrity of financial management information systems and reports.
Be part of Company MFI executive team and participate in strategic planning and key network decisions.
Oversee the annual budgeting process.
Effectively deploy and manage strong processes and controls around cash movement and cash deployment.
Drive and ensure optimal cash and working-capital management processes and controls.
Develop and lead capital and operational budgeting.
Provide strategic leadership to the overall finance function at the company MFI ensuring that the function is properly organized, staffed, developed, motivated, and compensated. .
Deploy adequate and appropriate financial management and reporting systems, controls, procedures and processes.
Ensure that all regulatory reporting and compliance obligations are met in a timely manner and simultaneously create insightful internal and external management reporting capabilities.
Apply risk management including assessment; develop strategies to manage it and mitigation of risk using managerial resources.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by the GM (CEO)
a) Knowledge and Qualifications
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, MBA, or equivalent, and/or a CPA.
Demonstrated record of effective financial management, with experience with large, complex financial accounting systems and hands-on knowledge of international accounting standards and practices in addition to the financial sector’s regulatory and legal time frames
5 or more years of experience with senior to middle management responsibilities preferably in banking, micro finance or relevant financial field with a track record of quality achievements.

Excellent analytical and planning skills, focusing on results.
Excellent report writing skills.
Excellent problem solving skills with a "can do" approach.
Excellent command of Arabic and English (written, orally)
Excellent computer skills (esp. MS Office applications, international and local accounting systems and software) .
Experience in working in Micro-finance.
